match 사용 예(match your word match)

Disclaimer:
성냥(match) 사용법이 아니라 동사 match 사용법이다.

match는 자동사로도 사용되지만 타동사로 더 많이 사용된다. 먼저 간단한 자동사 사용 예부터 보자.

It matches so well.
그거 너무 잘 어울리는데.

타동사로는 그냥 쓰기도 하고 with나 to와 함께 쓰기도 한다.

The wildcard matches any character.
그 와일드카드는 아무 문자와 일치한다.

같은 계열 내의 두 개를 일치시킬 때에는 with를 사용한다.

I matched the yellow with the orange. Don't they look great?
노랑과 주황을 함께 두었어. 괜찮지 않니?

다른 계열로 대응됨을 보일 때에는 to를 사용한다.

You have to match the arguments to the functions.
인수를 함수와 일치시켜야 해.
