Collins 사전에 따르면 "enjoying yourself far too much and not controlling your behavior in any way(자제력을 잃고 아무렇게나 너무 스스로를 즐김)."이라고 되어 있다. 영국 속담으로는 "like a child in a sweet shop"이라고 한다고 한다.
