Acrostic Poem (영어 삼행시?)

아이들 숙제를 봐 주다가 acrostic poem이라는 것을 알게 되었다. 우리나라 삼행시 같은 것인데 각 글자를 첫머리로 하여 글을 만드는 것이다. 고구마가 주어졌다고 하면,

고구마
구워라
마라톤

이렇게 만들 수 있다. 이와 비슷하게 FOIL이 주어졌다고 하면

Foolish fish is caught by

Old octopus

In the blue sea

Late evening

이런 것처럼 만드는 것이다. 다음은 우인과 함께 만든 acrostic poem이다.

Good morning

Our friends

We are going to sing

Now

 

Crunch cookie

On the table

Is always

Lying on the table
